Elroy Webster Cooperative Studies Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a graduate student or law school student based in the United States.
• Be enrolled in an accredited advanced degree program, including a master's, doctoral, or law program.
• Demonstrate an interest in agricultural cooperatives.
• Students in fields not directly related to agricultural cooperatives must demonstrate how their field of study relates to or benefits the agricultural cooperative industry.
• A recipient may receive only one scholarship per degree program.
• A previous recipient may apply again while pursuing a different degree program, such as progressing from a master's degree to a PhD or law degree.
• Ralph K. Morris Foundation trustees, staff, and their immediate families are not eligible.

Requirements

• Complete the online Elroy Webster Cooperative Studies application.
• Submit undergraduate transcripts.
• Submit current graduate or law school transcripts.
• Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.
• Submit three letters of recommendation.
• Applicants may optionally provide documentation of professional development or extracurricular activities involving cooperatives.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm enrollment in an accredited graduate, doctoral, or law program.
2. 2Complete the Elroy Webster Cooperative Studies online application.
3. 3Explain your interest in agricultural cooperatives or how your field of study can benefit the agricultural cooperative industry.
4. 4Gather undergraduate and current graduate or law school transcripts.
5. 5Request three letters of recommendation.
6. 6Optionally provide evidence of cooperative-related professional development or extracurricular involvement.
7. 7Submit the complete application by October 31, 2026.
8. 8Recipients are encouraged to attend a Ralph K. Morris Foundation-sponsored event for recognition.
9. 9Recipients must submit a program evaluation within 30 days after completing the applicable class or program.
