Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen, eligible noncitizen, or meet the Illinois RISE Act requirements.
  • Currently work or have previously worked in the Illinois early childhood field.
  • Maintain current membership in the Gateways to Opportunity Registry.
  • Enroll at an ECACE-participating Illinois college or university.
  • Pursue an approved early childhood education credential or degree.
  • Complete the FAFSA or Illinois Alternative Application.
