Eligibility

  • Be a Mississippi resident.
  • Be currently enrolled and in good standing in a Mississippi university MSN, DNP, or PhD program.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellent patient care and being a positive influence on others.

Requirements

  • Complete the Student Information Form.
  • Submit an official transcript showing at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Provide two letters of reference from faculty members or direct supervisors.
  • Provide a letter from the school verifying enrollment and good academic standing.
  • Submit a 500- to 750-word essay addressing how the award will help you become a nursing professional and positively influence others.
