Eligibility

  • Be a Maryland resident.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited Maryland nursing education program.
  • Be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Demonstrate academic achievement.
  • Demonstrate community service.
  • Demonstrate commitment to and potential for leadership in nursing.
  • Have not previously received a Nursing Foundation of Maryland scholarship.
  • If already a Registered Nurse, meet the Nursing Foundation of Maryland's applicable Maryland Nurses Association membership requirement.

Requirements

  • Complete the Nursing Foundation of Maryland scholarship application process.
  • Submit the required letter of application.
  • Provide at least two letters of reference.
  • At least one reference must come from a current nursing faculty member.
  • Submit all materials required for the current scholarship cycle.
