Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen, eligible noncitizen, or meet Illinois RISE Act eligibility.
  • Be the natural, adopted, or stepchild of an eligible displaced energy worker.
  • Enroll at least part-time at an Illinois public university or community college.
  • Demonstrate unmet financial need.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Requirements

  • Complete the online ISAC application.
  • Complete the FAFSA or Illinois Alternative Application.
  • Upload documentation verifying the parent's qualifying job loss.
