Eligibility

  • Pursue a degree or program in utility line work through an accredited college, university, trade school, or community college.
  • Applicant and/or parent or guardian must reside within Dawson PPD territory boundaries or one of the eligible communities identified by Dawson PPD.
  • Prior recipients of the Dawson PPD Utility Line Scholarship are not eligible.

Requirements

  • Complete the official scholarship application.
  • Meet Dawson PPD service-area eligibility.
  • Enroll in an accredited utility line program.
  • Successfully complete the first semester or quarter after the award with at least a 2.0 GPA.
  • Provide a transcript and proof of enrollment for the following term before payment.
  • Participate in an interview if requested by the scholarship committee.
