Cuivre River Electric Cooperative Scholarship

Eligibility

• Meet the GPA standards established by the Cuivre River Electric Cooperative Community Trust for the applicable scholarship cycle.
• Meet the geographic and other eligibility requirements established by the Community Trust.
• Attend or plan to attend an eligible educational institution.
• Students who have previously received an award may apply again, subject to the $3,000 lifetime scholarship maximum.

Requirements

• Complete the Cuivre River Electric Cooperative Community Trust scholarship application.
• Submit an academic transcript.
• Submit two letters of recommendation.
• Submit a complete Student Aid Report from the FAFSA.
• Submit the required written narrative.
• Address academic achievements in the written narrative.
• Address community service in the written narrative.
• Address career goals in the written narrative.
• Address financial need in the written narrative.

How to Apply

1. 1Complete the annual Cuivre River Electric Cooperative Community Trust scholarship application.
2. 2Obtain an academic transcript.
3. 3Request two letters of recommendation.
4. 4Complete the FAFSA and obtain the complete Student Aid Report.
5. 5Prepare the required written narrative addressing academics, community service, career goals, and financial need.
6. 6Submit the complete application and all supporting materials by the annual deadline.
7. 7If selected, scholarship funds are issued for use at the student's educational institution.
8. 8Students seeking assistance in a later academic year must submit a new scholarship application.
