Eligibility

  • Be a college sophomore, junior, senior, fifth-year student, or graduate student pursuing a qualifying natural resources-related degree.
  • Attend an accredited postsecondary institution.
  • Either the applicant or the applicant's parent must reside within the Central Platte Natural Resources District.
  • Meet all requirements of the current scholarship application.
  • Previous applicants and recipients may reapply.

Requirements

  • Complete the official CPNRD–Ron Bishop Memorial College Scholarship application.
  • Provide major, minor, degree, institution, and personal information.
  • Submit cumulative college GPA documentation.
  • Submit a required essay of 400 words or less.
  • Address natural-resources involvement, future natural-resources plans, and why the applicant should receive the scholarship.
  • Do not include the applicant's name or city in the essay because essays are reviewed anonymously.
