Connie Maystead Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility

• Pursue a degree or certificate in an agriculture-related field of study.
• Be a graduate accepted by or currently attending a postsecondary institution or technical school.
• Maintain a GPA of at least 2.0 while receiving scholarship funds.
• Be a member of St. Joseph County Farm Bureau while receiving scholarship funds.
• Previous applicants and recipients may reapply for the scholarship each year.

Requirements

• Complete all sections of the Connie Maystead Memorial Scholarship application.
• Submit the most recent high school or college transcript.
• Complete the required scholarship essay responses.
• Provide information about agriculture and community involvement.
• Provide information about Farm Bureau involvement.
• Provide financial information used to evaluate scholarship need.

How to Apply

1. 1Complete all portions of the scholarship application.
2. 2Describe the agriculture-related degree or certificate being pursued.
3. 3Provide information about academic performance and financial need.
4. 4Describe agriculture, community, and Farm Bureau involvement.
5. 5Complete the required essay responses.
6. 6Attach the most recent transcript from the high school or college currently attended.
7. 7Submit the completed application, transcript, and essay materials by the annual deadline.
8. 8If selected, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA while receiving scholarship funds.
9. 9Scholarship funds are paid directly to the educational institution for eligible educational expenses.
