Connections Bank College Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a high school senior in a Connections Bank banking area or community.
• Plan to enroll at a four-year university.
• Meet all requirements contained in the current Connections Bank College Scholarship application.
• To receive the second-year $500 installment, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA during the first year while enrolled as a full-time student.

Requirements

• Complete the Connections Bank College Scholarship application.
• Provide high school GPA and class rank information.
• Provide ACT score information when applicable.
• Provide information about the college or university the applicant plans to attend.
• List high school, church, and community activities and honors.
• List other college scholarships already received or expected.
• Submit a typed essay addressing how the scholarship will help the applicant and their family, the applicant's intended major, and how the scholarship will help the applicant achieve their life goals.
• Submit a recommendation letter from a high school teacher, counselor, or administrator.

How to Apply

1. 1Complete the Connections Bank College Scholarship application.
2. 2Prepare the required scholarship essay.
3. 3Obtain a recommendation letter from a high school teacher, counselor, or administrator.
4. 4Submit the completed application and supporting materials by April 1.
5. 5Applications may be submitted by email, through the applicant's high school counselor, by mail, or by hand delivery to a Connections Bank location.
