Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan Scholarships

Eligibility

• Meet the eligibility requirements for at least one scholarship fund administered through the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.
• Eligibility varies by scholarship and may depend on residence, high school, college enrollment, field of study, career goals, financial need, family background, employment, community involvement, or other donor-established criteria.
• Opportunities are available for graduating high school seniors, currently enrolled college students, and nontraditional students.
• Some scholarships are restricted to residents of specific Southeast Michigan counties or communities.
• Some scholarship funds have additional requirements related to family employment, union membership, veteran ancestry, first-generation college status, educational institution, career field, or other specific circumstances.

Requirements

• Complete the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan common online scholarship application.
• Submit a current academic transcript.
• Submit two letters of recommendation.
• Provide information about activities, employment, achievements, and other experiences.
• Complete the required scholarship essays.
