Community College Nursing Scholarship Program

Eligibility

  • Physically reside in Massachusetts for at least one year as of the start of the enrolled term, with an intent to remain in Massachusetts consistent with Board of Higher Education policy.
  • Complete the FAFSA or Massachusetts Application for State Financial Aid (MASFA).
  • Meet applicable citizenship or Massachusetts tuition-equity eligibility requirements.
  • Not have previously earned an associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
  • Enroll as a matriculated student full-time or part-time in at least six credits or the equivalent.
  • Attend a Massachusetts public community college.
  • Be enrolled in an approved certificate or associate degree nursing program.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress.
  • Have a remaining balance for tuition, fees, books, or supplies after all other grant and scholarship aid has been applied.
  • Not be in default on applicable federal or state student loans or owe a refund for previously received state financial aid.

  • Enroll in an approved nursing certificate or associate degree program at a Massachusetts public community college.
