Co-Mo Connect Lineman Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a local high school senior.
• Live within Co-Mo Connect Powered by Co-Mo Electric Cooperative's service territory.
• Applicants do not have to receive electric service directly from Co-Mo.
• Plan to attend State Technical College of Missouri or Ozarks Technical Community College in Lebanon.
• Plan to pursue and eventually be accepted into the Electrical Distribution Systems program.
• Meet all additional scholarship provisions and employment-related requirements established by Co-Mo.

Requirements

• Complete the Co-Mo Connect Lineman Scholarship application.
• Provide educational information, including cumulative GPA and class rank or class size.
• Provide information about personal goals.
• Provide work-history information.
• Provide character references.
• Submit the required two-page essay explaining why the applicant wants to become a lineworker.
• Complete applicable post-scholarship employment agreement documentation.
• Complete applicable internship documentation.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that the applicant resides within Co-Mo's service territory.
2. 2Plan to attend State Technical College of Missouri or Ozarks Technical Community College in Lebanon.
3. 3Complete the Co-Mo Lineman Scholarship application.
4. 4Provide the required academic, personal-goal, work-history, and character-reference information.
5. 5Write the required two-page essay explaining why you want to become a lineworker.
6. 6Review and complete the applicable post-scholarship employment agreement and internship documentation.
7. 7Submit the complete application package to Co-Mo by the published deadline.
