Clinton County Farm Bureau Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be from a Clinton County Farm Bureau member family.
• Pursue an agriculture-related postsecondary program.
• Plan to pursue a lifelong career connected to agriculture.
• Enter or be enrolled in the first or second year of postsecondary study.
• Attend a college, university, vocational school, or technical school.
• Remain in good academic standing.

Requirements

• Complete the Clinton County Farm Bureau Scholarship application.
• Provide career goals and plans for achieving those goals.
• Provide postsecondary education and intended course-of-study information.
• Submit a recommendation from a non-relative such as faculty, clergy, an employer, or a volunteer supervisor.
• Submit a recent unofficial transcript.
• Provide a summary of agriculture-related activities.
• Provide a summary of school organization involvement.
• Submit the required agriculture essay.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm eligibility through a Clinton County Farm Bureau member family.
2. 2Complete the annual scholarship application.
3. 3Describe career goals and the education required to reach them.
4. 4Prepare a summary of agriculture-related activities, including leadership, volunteer work, competitions, honors, Farm Bureau, 4-H, FFA, or similar involvement.
5. 5Prepare a separate summary of school activities and leadership.
6. 6Write the required agriculture essay.
7. 7Request a recommendation from a qualified non-family reference.
8. 8Attach the most recent unofficial transcript.
9. 9Submit the completed application and attachments to Clinton County Farm Bureau by the annual deadline.
