Eligibility

  • Be a graduating senior at a Maine high school.
  • Plan to pursue postsecondary study in a certificate, two-year, or four-year undergraduate program.
  • Plan to attend an eligible University of Maine System institution, Maine Community College System institution, Maine Maritime Academy, or vocational or technical postsecondary school in Maine.
  • Demonstrate meaningful leadership, independent thinking, initiative, hard work, and the ability to rally others around a cause or community goal.

Requirements

  • Complete the Maine Community Foundation scholarship application.
  • Describe meaningful leadership experiences and community impact.
  • Submit all required academic and supporting materials.
  • Complete any scholarship-specific written responses.
