The CHESLA Certificate Scholarship provides financial assistance to Connecticut residents enrolled in eligible healthcare, manufacturing, or Connecticut ARC teaching certificate programs at participating Connecticut institutions.

Eligibility

  • Be a resident of Connecticut.
  • Be enrolled at least half-time.
  • Be enrolled in an eligible healthcare, manufacturing, or Connecticut ARC teaching certificate program.
  • Attend an eligible Connecticut public or nonprofit degree-granting institution.
  • Be in good academic standing and making satisfactory academic progress.
  • Not be in default on any CHESLA loan.

Requirements

  • Complete the CHESLA Certificate Scholarship application.
  • Provide one letter of recommendation.
  • Submit any enrollment or academic documentation requested.
