Eligibility

  • Be a junior- or senior-level undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Pursue a degree related to waterfowl or waterbird biology and management, wetlands restoration and management, or wildlife biology and management.
  • Preference is given to University of Missouri-Columbia students under the Johnny Morris Institute of Fisheries, Wetlands, and Aquatic Systems.
  • Students at other Missouri universities pursuing eligible fields may also apply.

Requirements

  • Complete the application form.
  • Submit an essay no longer than two pages describing academic and professional goals and any ongoing research or related project work.
  • Submit a current resume including anticipated graduation date.
  • Submit two recommendation letters from natural-resource professionals.
