CGCS Bernard Harris Math & Science Scholarship

Eligibility

• Identify as African American/Black or Hispanic.
• Attend a high school in a Council of the Great City Schools member district.
• Be graduating from high school during the current academic year.
• Have been accepted for full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Plan to pursue a STEM degree.
• Maintain at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA.
• Demonstrate academic achievement, STEM leadership, and/or STEM-related community service.

Requirements

• Complete the online scholarship application.
• Submit two one-page essays.
• Provide a high school transcript.
• Submit two recommendation forms.
• Provide a list of STEM courses completed.
• Submit all required materials before the published deadline.
