Central United Cooperative Scholarship Program

Eligibility

• Be a dependent child of a Central United Cooperative voting patron or full-time employee.
• Dependent children include natural children, legally adopted children, or stepchildren living in the patron's or employee's household or primarily supported by the patron or employee.
• For scholarship purposes, a voting patron is an active farmer producer who uses more than $10,000 per year in Central United Cooperative products and services.
• Be a current high school senior.
• Plan to enroll for the first time in a full-time undergraduate course of study.
• Attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school.

Requirements

• Complete the Central United Cooperative Scholarship Program application.
• Submit a current and complete academic transcript.
• Provide information about academic performance.
• Provide information about leadership and participation in school and community activities.
• Provide work experience.
• Provide a statement describing educational and career goals and objectives.
• Provide information about unusual personal or family circumstances, when applicable.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that your parent or guardian is either a qualifying Central United Cooperative voting patron or a full-time employee.
2. 2Complete the online Scholarship America application.
3. 3Provide information about academics, leadership, school and community activities, work experience, and educational and career goals.
4. 4Upload a complete current transcript.
5. 5If providing SAT or ACT scores that do not appear on the transcript, upload the applicable score report.
6. 6Submit all required application materials electronically.
7. 7Scholarship America independently evaluates eligible applications and selects recipients.
