Eligibility
- Be the spouse, child, grandchild, stepchild, or legal ward of an SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa member.
- The qualifying SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa member must be in good standing when the scholarship winners are selected.
- Use the scholarship for education at an accredited postsecondary institution.
- Submit only one scholarship application per person.
- Not receive multiple SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa scholarship awards during the same year.
Requirements
- Complete the online scholarship application.
- Submit a minimum 500-word essay explaining what the family member's participation in SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa means to the applicant.
How to Apply
- 1Confirm your qualifying relationship to an SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa member.
- 2Confirm that the member is in good standing.
- 3Complete the online scholarship application.
- 4Write the required essay of at least 500 words.
- 5Submit by July 31 or December 31.
