The BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp EverFi Scholarship rewards high school seniors who complete the BTC Bank-funded EverFi Financial Literacy Program and demonstrate how financial education can improve their lives and communities. Six one-time scholarships are awarded at three award levels.

Eligibility

  • Be a high school senior.
  • Plan to attend an accredited two-year college, four-year college or university, vocational school, or trade school in the United States.
  • Complete all eleven modules of the EverFi Financial Literacy Program funded by BTC Bank.
  • Earn and submit a certificate of completion for the EverFi Financial Literacy Program.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to using financial practices to improve the applicant's life and community.

Requirements

  • Complete the BTC Area Youth Benefit Corp EverFi Scholarship application.
  • Complete all eleven EverFi Financial Literacy Program modules.
  • Submit the EverFi Financial Literacy Program certificate of completion.
  • Submit a 250-word essay explaining how completing the EverFi program will benefit the applicant in college and afterward.

How to Apply

  1. 1Complete all eleven modules of the BTC Bank-funded EverFi Financial Literacy Program.
  2. 2Obtain the program certificate of completion.
  3. 3Create or sign in to the Blackbaud Applicant Portal linked by BTC Bank.
  4. 4Complete the separate EverFi Scholarship application.
  5. 5Prepare and submit the required 250-word essay.
  6. 6Upload the EverFi completion certificate and all other required information before the deadline.
