The Bolton & Menk University of Minnesota Civil, Environmental and Geo-Engineering Scholarship supports students pursuing bachelor's degrees through the University of Minnesota Civil, Environmental and Geo-Engineering program. The scholarship is designed to promote recruitment and retention in CEGE and provides renewable annual financial assistance to qualifying lower- and upper-division students.

Eligibility
- Be currently enrolled in the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering.
- Be a lower-division student taking coursework supporting a Civil, Environmental and Geo-Engineering major or an upper-division student with a declared CEGE major.
- Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Provide official class registration showing coursework substantially supporting a CEGE major.
- Upper-division applicants must provide proof of their declared major.
Requirements
- Complete the Bolton & Menk scholarship application.
- State whether you are a lower-division or upper-division CEGE student.
- Provide your current year in the CEGE curriculum and intended or declared major.
- Submit official current class registration.
- Submit an official college transcript; qualifying incoming freshmen may be exempt from the college-transcript requirement but must provide official class registration.
- Write a short essay of 500 words or fewer about how the next generation of civil, environmental, and/or geo-engineers can make an impact on the world.
