Eligibility

  • Be a graduating high school senior from a New Jersey school.
  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA and two years of high school journalism participation.
  • Be selected by a faculty adviser who is a GSSPA member.

Requirements

  • Submit the official entry form and a self-analytical evaluation of your journalistic life.
  • Provide an official transcript, proof of journalism participation, an action photo, three or four recommendations, and selected work samples.
  • Keep the complete portfolio within the published 36-page limit.
