Blaze Foundation High School Branch Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a traditional applicant graduating from high school during the applicable scholarship year.
• Attend Como Park Senior High School, Harding Senior High School, Highland Park Senior High School, or Johnson Senior High School in St. Paul, Minnesota.
• Be enrolled, accepted, or planning to attend an accredited postsecondary institution during the applicable academic year.
• Blaze Credit Union membership is not required.
• Use the scholarship within one year of the award.

Requirements

• Complete the Blaze Foundation scholarship application.
• Submit a letter of recommendation.
• Describe community involvement, accomplishments, extracurricular activities, awards, affiliations, and volunteer service.
• Complete the required scholarship essay.
• Do not include the applicant's name or family members' names in the essay or community involvement response.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm attendance at one of the four eligible St. Paul high schools.
2. 2Complete the Blaze Foundation scholarship application.
3. 3Request the required recommendation letter.
4. 4Prepare the community involvement response.
5. 5Write the required scholarship essay.
6. 6Remove identifying names from the essay and community involvement response.
7. 7Submit the application during the annual scholarship window.
8. 8If selected, enroll at an accredited postsecondary institution during the applicable academic year.
