Eligibility

  • Be a military veteran or the child or grandchild of an honorably discharged veteran.
  • Have or have had a high school or college GPA of at least 2.0.
  • Currently attend or plan to attend within the next year a qualifying postsecondary educational institution.
  • Attend a college, university, junior college, vocational school, or technical school located in Minnesota.
  • Demonstrate insufficient financial resources to pay for postsecondary education.

Requirements

  • Complete the Bill & Carol Ryan Foundation Scholarship application.
  • Provide information documenting veteran or qualifying family-member status.
  • Provide academic information demonstrating at least a 2.0 GPA.
  • Provide information about the qualifying Minnesota educational institution.
  • Provide requested financial-need information.
