Eligibility

  • The applicant's parent or legal guardian must be a current member in good standing of Big Horn County Electric Cooperative.
  • Be attending high school or college and plan to continue postsecondary education.
  • Complete all required portions of the BHCEC scholarship application.

Requirements

  • Complete and sign the BHCEC Scholarship Application.
  • Provide information about the high school or college currently attended.
  • Provide the name and mailing address of the school you will attend in the fall.
  • List awards and honors received.
  • List high school or college and community activities.
  • Provide high school or college employment history, including employer, position, weekly hours, and whether employment occurred during the school year or summer.
  • Describe future career goals.
  • Submit a copy of ACT and/or SAT scores.
  • Submit a copy of the most recent academic transcript.
  • Submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, employer, or manager.
