Eligibility

  • Be a college-level or technical-school student pursuing a construction industry-related education.
  • Attend Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, or North Dakota State University.
  • Priority is given to members of a construction industry-related student chapter, such as an NAHB Student Chapter or construction management society.
  • Meet all requirements of the current BIA Foundation scholarship application.
  • Students may receive up to four Foundation scholarship awards during their academic career.

  • Complete the BIA Foundation post-secondary scholarship application.
  • Submit a resume.
  • Provide information about career objectives.
  • Provide information about student-chapter or construction-management-society involvement.
  • Provide community and volunteer involvement.
  • Provide academic-standing information.

How to Apply

  1. 1Confirm attendance at one of the four eligible institutions.
  2. 2Complete the annual post-secondary scholarship application.
  3. 3Prepare and upload your resume.
  4. 4Document construction career objectives and industry involvement.
  5. 5Document community service and BIA Foundation involvement where applicable.
  6. 6Submit the completed application during the fall application period.
