Betty Dickson Health Policy Award

Eligibility

• Hold a full unrestricted license to practice as an RN in Mississippi.
• Be a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association.
• Demonstrate recent active involvement in a professional nursing organization at the local, state, or national level.
• Demonstrate commitment to health policy and related professional leadership.

Requirements

• Complete the award application.
• Submit a personal statement of no more than two typed pages describing your interest in health policy and intended career involvement.
• Identify the proposed national health policy meeting or conference and its objectives.
• Provide a CV detailing professional and extracurricular activities.
• Agree to make a related presentation at a designated Mississippi Nurses Association conference after receiving the award.
