Eligibility

  • Be enrolled in or accepted to an eligible California graduate behavioral health program.
  • Be preparing for an eligible behavioral health profession recognized by HCAI.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States throughout the required service period.
  • Agree to complete a 48-month full-time service obligation at an approved Medi-Cal behavioral health practice site.
  • Meet all eligibility requirements published in the current HCAI grant guide.

Requirements

  • Complete the HCAI Funding eApp application.
  • Provide proof of enrollment or acceptance.
  • Submit an official cost-of-attendance document.
  • Provide any additional documentation required by HCAI.
  • Sign the required service agreement if selected.
