Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be a dependent of a Northwest Rural Public Power District consumer or member-system employee.
  • Be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in an undergraduate or graduate course of study.
  • Attend an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school.
  • Enter college in the fall of the school year for which the scholarship is awarded.

Requirements

  • Complete the Northwest Rural scholarship application.
  • Provide SAT and/or ACT information when applicable.
  • Provide overall grade-point-average information.
  • Describe work experience.
  • Document participation in school and community activities.
  • Provide a personal statement describing career goals.
  • Provide a written recommendation from a third party.
