Associate Degree Nursing Scholarship Program

Eligibility

• Be enrolled in or accepted to an eligible California associate degree nursing program.
• Be preparing to qualify as a registered nurse.
• Be eligible to work in the United States throughout the required service period.
• Agree to provide direct patient care at a qualifying California facility after completing the nursing program.
• Meet all additional eligibility requirements published in the applicable HCAI grant guide.
• Not have another service obligation that overlaps with the HCAI scholarship commitment.

Requirements

• Complete the HCAI Funding eApp scholarship application.
• Provide proof of enrollment or acceptance in an eligible associate degree nursing program.
• Submit an official cost-of-attendance document from the educational institution.
• Provide any transcripts, financial documents, or supporting materials required by HCAI.
• Sign a grant agreement containing the required California service obligation if selected.

How to Apply

2. 2Confirm that the associate degree nursing program meets HCAI eligibility requirements.
3. 3Create or update a profile in the HCAI Funding eApp portal.
4. 4Gather proof of enrollment or acceptance and an official cost-of-attendance statement.
5. 5Complete the online application and upload every required document.
6. 6Submit the application by the deadline published for the next cycle.
7. 7If selected, review and sign the HCAI grant agreement by the stated deadline.
