APWA Minnesota Technical School Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a Minnesota resident or an APWA-MN Student Chapter member.
• Be a technical college or technical-school student entering the second year or higher.
• Be enrolled in a public works-related technical degree or program.
• Eligible fields include civil engineering technology, drafting, design, inspections, surveying, GIS, forestry, natural resources, horticulture, water certificate or utility operator programs, biological science, fleet management, and closely related fields.
• Applicants do not necessarily need to attend a Minnesota school if they meet the Minnesota residency or APWA-MN Student Chapter requirement.

Requirements

• Complete the APWA-MN Technical School Scholarship application.
• Provide academic information.
• Provide information about financial need.
• Describe professional or industry organization involvement when applicable.
• Provide previous public works-related employment or experience.
• Complete required written responses and supporting documentation.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm Minnesota residency or APWA-MN Student Chapter membership.
2. 2Confirm that you are entering at least your second year.
3. 3Confirm that your technical program qualifies as public works-related.
4. 4Complete the technical-school scholarship application.
5. 5Provide academic, financial-need, professional-involvement, and public works experience information.
6. 6Submit the complete application during the annual scholarship window.
