Eligibility

  • Be an Idaho resident.
  • Be a graduating high school senior or current undergraduate student.
  • Attend or plan to attend a public or private two- or four-year college or university in Idaho as a full-time undergraduate student.
  • Major in Fire Ecology or Auto Mechanics; OR be a current Wildland Firefighter studying any subject.
  • Maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.

  • Complete the Idaho Community Foundation scholarship application.
  • Submit the most recent unofficial transcript.
  • Submit a one-to-three-page personal statement.
  • Describe educational and career goals.
  • Describe extracurricular activities, volunteer service, awards, leadership, and work experience.
  • Explain why you should receive the scholarship.
  • Combine all required materials into one PDF.
