Andrew Sharp Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a graduating high school senior.
• Be a Compass Credit Union member in good standing by February 28, 2026.
• Students who are not already members may join Compass Credit Union by February 28, 2026 if they meet the credit union's field-of-membership requirements.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Plan to pursue a two- or four-year college degree, apprenticeship, or certification program.
• Verify enrollment in an accredited college, university, or trade school for Fall 2026 before scholarship funds are released.
• Employees, volunteers, and immediate family members of Compass Credit Union employees and volunteers are not eligible.

Requirements

• Complete the Andrew Sharp Memorial Scholarship application.
• Submit a letter of recommendation.
• Submit a copy of the most recent academic transcript.
• Submit a list of extracurricular activities and honors.
• Submit an outline of community involvement.
• Complete the required essay response.
• Ensure all materials are received by Compass Credit Union by the published deadline.

How to Apply

9. 9Submit the complete application packet by mail or in person so it is received by the published deadline.
10. 10If selected, verify enrollment in an accredited college, university, or trade school before funds are disbursed.
