Eligibility

  • Enroll full time in an undergraduate degree-seeking program at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
  • Be enrolled or eligible for enrollment in a federally recognized American Indian Tribe.
  • Generally be from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin unless no eligible candidates are available.
  • Pursue science or engineering related to environmental protection, with priority for College of Science and Engineering students.
  • Demonstrate financial need and academic merit.
  • Demonstrate commitment to protecting or understanding natural resources for future generations.
