Allina Health Orthopedics Professional Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a first- or second-year graduate student enrolled in a CAATE-approved professional athletic training degree program.
• Be preparing to graduate and sit for the BOC exam during the 2025-26 or 2026-27 academic year.
• Intend to pursue athletic training as a professional career.
• Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Be a MATA member in good standing.

Requirements

• Complete the Allina Health Orthopedics Professional Scholarship application.
• Submit a typed one-page essay describing interest in athletic training, professional goals, and aspirations.
• Submit one letter of recommendation from a sponsoring athletic trainer.
• Submit current undergraduate and/or graduate athletic training transcripts.
• Provide athletic training experience, professional-development, leadership, activity, and award information.
