All-Star College Scholarship

Offered by Major League Baseball Umpires Camp Scholarship Program

The All-Star College Scholarship supports students who entered foster care and were later adopted or placed in permanent guardianship. In addition to financial assistance, recipients receive mentorship from Major League Baseball umpires and their families throughout their college journey.

Eligibility

  • Be a United States citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be 21 years old or younger at the time of application.
  • Have entered foster care at age 13 or older before being adopted or placed into permanent guardianship.
  • Plan to attend or currently attend an accredited college or university.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
  • Demonstrate financial need.
