Albright Gemlick Scholarship

Offered by Parkview Health Foundation and Parkview Sports Medicine

The Albright Gemlick Scholarship recognizes outstanding graduating high school student-athletes connected to Parkview Sports Medicine partner schools and clubs. Nominees are selected by Parkview Sports Medicine athletic trainers and evaluated for academic achievement, athletics, extracurricular involvement, leadership, and overall character. Scholarship recipients receive undergraduate funding support for up to four years.

Eligibility

  • Be nominated by a Parkview Sports Medicine athletic trainer.
  • Be a current student at a Parkview Sports Medicine partner high school or club.
  • Participate in or work with at least one sport during the senior year of high school.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or 9.0 on a 12.0 scale.
  • Not be related to Parkview Sports Medicine personnel or applicable school administration or athletics personnel.
  • Receive approval through the Parkview Sports Medicine Working Committee.
  • Plan to pursue an undergraduate degree after high school graduation.

Requirements

  • Receive nomination from an eligible Parkview Sports Medicine athletic trainer.
  • Complete the Albright Gemlick Scholarship application.
  • Submit two completed Parkview-provided recommendation forms.
  • Submit four to five high-quality photographs showing participation in athletics or extracurricular activities.
  • Submit the required consent or photo-release form.
  • Provide proof of college enrollment annually after receiving the scholarship.
  • Submit all materials in the required format before the deadline.

How to Apply
