Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation Scholarships

Eligibility

• Be an active Alabama ONE Credit Union member in good standing.
• Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on the most recent transcript.
• Complete at least 10 officially documented volunteer hours during the 12 months before applying, unless a scholarship track publishes a different service requirement.
• Plan to attend an eligible college, university, community college, vocational school, or trade program.
• Meet the additional eligibility requirements for at least one Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation scholarship track.
• ARECU applicants must work for or receive power from an Alabama Rural Electric Cooperative, or be the dependent of an eligible member.
• HBCU applicants must plan to attend an accredited Historically Black College or University.
• Community College applicants must plan to attend an accredited community college.
• Need-Based applicants must document a Federal Pell Grant greater than $1,000 for the applicable school year.
• Select Employee Group applicants must work for an Alabama ONE Select Employer Group partner or be the dependent of an eligible employee.
• Skilled Trade applicants must plan to attend a vocational school or trade program.
• Team Member and Next Generation applicants must meet the applicable Alabama ONE employment, dependent, and event-volunteer requirements.

Requirements

• Complete the application for the scholarship track that best matches the applicant's circumstances.
• Submit the most recent academic transcript.
• Provide official documentation of qualifying volunteer service.
• Complete all required written responses or essays.
• Provide proof of Alabama ONE membership.
• Submit Pell Grant documentation for the Need-Based Scholarship.
• Provide employer, cooperative, HBCU, community-college, trade-program, team-member, or dependent documentation when required by the selected scholarship.
• Submit every required application component before the published deadline.

7. 7Submit the complete application before the annual deadline.
