AICPA Foundation Scholarship for Future CPAs

Eligibility

• Pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or an accounting-related field.
• Plan to pursue CPA licensure after graduation.
• Meet the enrollment requirements established for the annual AICPA Foundation Legacy Scholarship cycle.
• Full-time undergraduate students generally enroll in at least 12 semester hours per semester.
• Full-time graduate students generally enroll in at least 9 semester hours per semester.
• Qualifying part-time students employed in accounting may be eligible when enrolled in at least 6 semester hours and using their coursework and employment toward CPA licensure requirements.

Requirements

• Complete the AICPA Foundation Legacy Scholarship application.
• Provide academic and enrollment information.
• Provide the names and email addresses of two individuals who agree to submit recommendations.
• Ensure at least one reference is a professor or licensed CPA.
• Complete all required written responses.
• Meet the annual enrollment and CPA-career requirements.

How to Apply

2. 2Complete the common AICPA Foundation Legacy Scholarship application.
3. 3Provide accounting education and CPA career information.
4. 4Request two recommendations.
5. 5Complete all required essays and application responses.
6. 6Submit the application before the annual deadline.
7. 7Allow AICPA to evaluate the common application for all Legacy Scholarships for which you qualify.
