Eligibility

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be currently enrolled in a college or university.
  • Be pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, including eligible geomatic engineering or land surveying programs.
  • Be entering the junior, senior, fifth-year, or master's level of study for the applicable award year.
  • Be a Massachusetts resident or attend a college or university located in Massachusetts.
  • Pursue a degree in engineering or land surveying.

Requirements

  • Complete the ACEC Research Institute Scholarship Portal general application.
  • Complete all required essays.
  • Upload a current college or university transcript including the most recently required semester grades.
  • Request an ACEC Research Institute Scholarship Recommendation Form through the online portal.
  • Obtain the required recommendation from a consulting engineer, land surveyor, or engineering professor.
  • Complete any additional questions required for the ACEC/MA Presidents’ Scholarship.
