Access Energy Cooperative Scholarship

Eligibility

• Be a graduating high school senior.
• Live on Access Energy Cooperative lines.
• Have a parent or guardian who is an active member of Access Energy Cooperative.
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Plan to pursue post-secondary education.
• Applicants may qualify for only one scholarship from Access Energy Cooperative.

Requirements

• Complete the Access Energy Cooperative scholarship application.
• Submit a high school transcript.
• Provide information about academic and community honors.
• Provide information about extracurricular activities.
• Provide employment history.
• Provide information about community involvement.
• Provide post-secondary education plans and intended course of study.
• Complete the required brief essay questions.

How to Apply

1. 1Confirm that the applicant lives on Access Energy Cooperative lines and has a parent or guardian who is an active cooperative member.
2. 2Complete the annual scholarship application between December 1 and March 15.
3. 3Upload or submit the required high school transcript.
4. 4Complete the academic, extracurricular, employment, community involvement, and post-secondary education sections.
5. 5Answer the required electric-cooperative and energy-related essay questions.
6. 6Submit the complete application by March 15.
7. 7If selected, provide enrollment verification when required to receive scholarship payments.
