Eligibility

  • Be a graduating senior from a Lauderdale County high school or Meridian High School.
  • Plan to enroll at a Mississippi community college, junior college, or university.
  • Complete at least 30 hours of community service.
  • Preference may be given to dependents of Mississippi Power employees or retirees, but this is not required.

Requirements

  • Upload documentation of at least 30 community-service hours.
  • Write an essay explaining how community service or volunteer work shaped who you are and what it taught you.
  • Provide two recommendation contacts.
